About Amity
For nearly three decades, I have worked with individuals and couples around some of the most vulnerable aspects of being human: sexuality, relationships, trauma, and identity. I believe these parts of ourselves are fundamental to the way we show up in relationships and experience the world.
I work collaboratively with clients toward achieving the goals most important to them. Together, we identify patterns that may be getting in the way and develop new ways of understanding themselves, their relationships, and the choices they make. My style is practical, direct, and compassionate. I believe therapy should offer more than insight—it should help you create meaningful change in the way you live, relate, and experience yourself.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST), with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan.
At the center of my work is a simple goal: to help you understand yourself more deeply, develop practical skills for change, and create the life and relationships you long for.
Rates:
Individual Therapy: $250 per 50-minute Session
Couples Therapy: $300 per 50-minute Session
Couples Intensive: $5,000 - 16 hours plus 2 follow-up sessions
*A limited number of sliding scale sessions are available
Insurance:
I am an out-of-network provider, which means your insurance plan may reimburse you for all or part of your therapy fees. I am happy to provide a “Superbill” you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Good Faith Estimate

Payment
Payment is due at the time of your session
Cancellations
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to the full session fee. Weekend intensives require 14 days' notice to cancel or reschedule.
Scope of Practice
If it becomes clear at any point during your care that you are facing a challenge outside my areas of expertise, I will discuss this with you and provide appropriate referral to other qualified professionals.
Friends & Family Referrals
Occasionally, current clients refer friends or family members to me for therapy. I may work with friends or extended family members of current clients with the client’s knowledge and consent. I am not able to treat members of a client’s immediate family, such as partners or children, but I am happy to provide referrals to other therapists.
Dual relationships
To maintain clear therapeutic boundaries, I am unable to treat individual with whom I currently have, or have previously had, a personal relationship or acquaintance.
